Now, you're probably wondering who I am & why should you care? Well, let me break it down for you.....

 I am a married 20 something who owns a photography boutique (Allie Marion Photography based in SoCal), co-manages two independent artists and does A&R (you will see us at The Grammys one day!) with DNT Entertainment, is a wife to an amazing husband, and a mom to a furry baby named Charger.

My background is in photography, marketing, design, PR, product development, and entrepreneurism. I have operated my own boutique business since 2009, which encompasses photography, marketing, and branding design. I have worked on 3 book campaigns with acclaimed speaker/author, Terri Sjodin, I have worked in creative environments, and I have worked in corporate environments. I have done it all.

Additionally, my husband and I recently started fostering Golden Retrievers, and are in search of a new addition to the family. (Fingers crossed for us!) We love to hike, travel, go to the river, host parties for our friends & family at our home, wine tasting, and the list goes on!

Combating Perfectionism + Its Affect On My Pregnancy

Many people attribute Perfectionism as a positive trait, I however do NOT... Way back when, while I was in search of my career, I would boast in my interviews about an excellent trait I have -- my perfectionism. Now, I am older, wiser and know better.  Perfectionism defined: R efusal to accept any standard short of perfection. I always wanted to be perfect and I always wanted to have a plan. Guess what though? Life doesn't go according to plan and it has taken me many years and repetitive reading of books by Brene Brown to accept  imperfection.  As Brene would say:  I did not want this to be me anymore. " The best thing to hold onto in life is each other. " - Audrey Hepburn I love Valentine's day. A lot. You might be wondering why?...Am I right? I know that many people label it a Hallmark holiday created for people to spend money, and while I understand that, I just don't care. For me, V-Day is a day to show love and gratitude for the special people in your life. In my opinion, you should show love and gratitude everyday, but some times that just doesn't happen. Life gets in the way. And it is understandable. A holiday such as Valentine's day gives you the opportunity to really showcase your feelings towards another. It's much like celebrating your birthday.
